Welcome to The Sycamore Building! We are Brett and Sara, two individuals brought together by a mutual friend in March 2020, during the peak of the Covid pandemic. Having settled into single life after our previous marriages, we quickly became best
friends and fell in love, knowing that we wanted to be married.

 

In our search for an affordable wedding venue, we found that there was nothing available in our area. So, we ended up traveling out of town for our ceremony and reception, which inspired us to create a venue that would fill this void in our valley.

 

After walking by the old Timberline Ace Hardware building many times, we began to dream about turning it into a wedding venue and event space. We decided to take action and make some phone calls to see if it could become a possibility. One year later, we are proud to introduce The Sycamore Building.

 

We chose the name The Sycamore Building for two reasons. Firstly, it contains our initials, S & B, as we wanted it to represent our journey together. Secondly, we love the symbolism behind the sycamore tree, which represents strength, protection, eternity, and divinity.

 

As the contractor and decorator, Brett and Sara have put their blood, sweat, and tears into creating this space. Our hope is that The Sycamore Building will be a place where precious memories are made, families and friends unite, marriages begin, and
happiness and joy are found. Thank you for supporting us on this journey!
